Amanda is currently on secondment from The Metropolitan Law Firm. In One17 Capital Ltd, she serves as General Counsel and overseas the Legal, Human Resources and Company Secretarial divisions. Ms. Umobi obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL. B) from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School where she was called to the Nigerian Bar.

Amanda offers effective and cost-efficient solutions and is well versed in Company Secretarial Services, Corporate Finance, Corporate law, Intellectual Property, and Islamic Finance. Her experience in Islamic and corporate finance cuts across Sukuk, infrastructure and product development, Islamic contracts structuring, due diligence and financial advisory. Prior to joining One17, Amanda worked with various legal, finance and non-profit organisations.

 Ms. Umobi is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIarb) and is also a student at the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators (ICSAN).
