Lawal Fari
AssiStant Vice president, Portfolio Management Unit
Lawal Fari obtained a B.Sc. in Economics from Bayero University, Kano. He commenced his career in 2001 at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and has gained over 14 years’ experience in corporate finance, funds/portfolio management, funds raising, investment banking, financial analysis and compliance.
Nuhu Muhammad Idris
Financial Officer
Nuhu is the acting Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company. He also holds a Master’ Degree in Banking and Finance from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto and is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) since 2017.
Amanda Umobi
Head, Legal & Company Secretary
Amanda is currently on secondment from The Metropolitan Law Firm. In One17 Capital Ltd, she serves as General Counsel and overseas the Legal, Human Resources and Company Secretarial divisions. Ms. Umobi obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL. B) from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School where she was called to the Nigerian Bar.
Kunara Mbaya
Head, Business Development/Customer Care
Kunara Mbaya is a Student of Management with Nigerian Institute of Management – University of Ibadan (NIM-UI). She holds a Diploma in French and BA in Linguistics (French) from University of Maiduguri. Kunara also holds certificates in Islamic Finance, Sukuk Bond Issuance, Executives Sales and Relationship Management. She is a very experienced Finance and investment professional with over 12 years’ experience in the Capital Market sector.
Ismail Rufai
Investment Analyst
Ismail Rufai is an Investment Analyst with One17 Capital Limited with over four years cognate experience in the Non-interest Financial Sector. His major area of specialisation is Islamic Finance with focus on Products development, Islamic contracts structuring, Research, Financial Advisory, Portfolio Management, Private Wealth Management etc.
